Why doesn't Capo for iOS have all the same features as the Mac?

I know, right? It'd be awesome if Capo did everything the same that the Mac, but in a more portable way!

Unfortunately, it isn't such a simple solution. The Mac has a lot more processing power than your mobile devices, and Capo relies on that power to realize many of those Mac-only features.

To make matters even more complicated, the interface for Capo on the Mac was built to be used with a pointing device (e.g. a trackpad or mouse), and it needs to be re-designed to work on a smaller screen that's controlled with your fingers.

However, all is not lost—mobile devices are getting faster, and developers are getting smarter! At some point in the future, we can hope that the two will converge, and magical things will happen.
