A few features that would be nice.

It'd be nice to have a keyboard shortcut that swaps between muting the input notes and muting the audio file quickly. I find it much easier to take apart a complicated part by listening to them separately in quick succession than trying to play them over each other. When these two tracks are played at the same time, it can be really hard to tell what sounds come from which source.

It'd also be nice to overlay some measure markers, almost like a secondary ruler. I'd like to be able to tell it what the time signature is, and maybe even tap out the tempo, and then be able to see on the timeline where notes are in relation to measures.

    Hi,

Both of these are great pieces of feedback. Thanks!

I've been meaning to implement the 'swapping' of notes/audio volume for some time, but haven't gotten around to it just yet. Hopefully it shows up sooner rather than later.

As for the measures/beats, I am looking into something like this for a future release. Once I come up with something great, you can be sure I'll add it soon thereafter. :)

    Cheers,

I've been using the iphone version of Capo for ages and I've just got this version for my Mac. It's immense!

Here are some things I'd like to see in future versions.

    - a keyboard command to move notes between strings.

    - a keyboard command to navigate between midi notes horizontally.

    - an option to disable tracking during playback.

    - highlighting of tabbed note when selected in spectrogram.

    - some mixer presets.

    Keep up the good work!

It would also be good to have some control over the sound of the midi notes. The velocity is very high at the moment, and it's quite difficult to hear what's going on at softer dynamics when the piano midi notes are blasting out.

Agree on the keyboard shortcut. Is there even a way to mute notes at all?

    Rob,

You can hold the option key, and use the volume slider to control the volume of the MIDI notes.
