Loading music from other applications (i.e. Dropbox, Mail, etc.)

Capo touch can load songs in MP3, M4A, AIF, and WAV file formats. If an app you’re using allows you to share content with other apps on your device, then Capo can access the content as well.

To open a music file from another app in Capo touch, use the “Open In” sharing feature.

Step 1

Step 2

Step 3

Once the song is loaded into Capo touch, you will be taken immediately to the newly created project for the audio file you selected.

A Note About Voice Memos

Unfortunately, Apple’s own Voice Memos app does not appear to expose the option to open your voice memos in another app.

However, you can work around this (albeit in a very awkward way).

  1. Select the voice memo you wish to open in Capo
  2. Tap the share icon
  3. Choose ‘Mail’
  4. Enter your email address in the ‘To’ field
  5. Load Mail and open the Voice Memo email
  6. Tap on the voice memo file
  7. Tap the share icon
8. Scroll through the list of sharing options and tap ‘Open in Capo’
  9. The file should now be in your Projects list
